July 10, 2007 Dear Soccer Enthusiast, My name is Burke Cherrie and I'd like to welcome you to The Next American Revolution. I am the founding member of this non-profit organization leading the fight to raise awareness of the popularity of soccer in the United States. Although we feel that soccer's growth is inevitable, our grassroots movement will give the game the boom of attention it needs. We have set out to gather 20 million signatures, all in support of soccer in the US. Some may scoff at the number, but we are fully confident that the support for soccer in the United States is that widespread. An organized body of 20 million soccer fans will help to create opportunities to elevate the sport and to increase media coverage of soccer from youth through professional levels.
